Senior Energy Systems Engineer

Join Cenergy International in Boston, MA to help advance high-voltage electrical systems and energy infrastructure through technology development and multidisciplinary engineering execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering and technology development projects.
• Use systems engineering, mathematical modeling, data analytics, and computational methods to address complex technical challenges.
• Evaluate and develop emerging technologies including hydrogen, CCS, geothermal, and circular economy solutions.
• Drive projects from concept and prototyping through technology maturation and implementation.
• Work closely with engineers, business leaders, startups, vendors, academia, and external partners.
• Provide technical guidance, influence stakeholders, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of engineering experience on complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong systems engineering skills with an analytical approach to modeling and problem-solving.
• Experience in engineering innovation, R&D, technology development, or product maturation.
• Energy, Oil & Gas, or Renewables experience preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Pay and Work Details

• Location: Boston, MA (onsite / in person)
• Salary: USD 65 - 80 per hour
• Expected hours: 40.0 per week
