Shape safer, high-performance liquid packaging for semiconductor manufacturing at Entegris in Chaska, MN (onsite). This Senior Engineer role supports the Entegris Liquid Packaging Product Engineering team, helping develop and advance NOWPak® and FluoroPure® systems for high-purity chemicals and photoresists. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and release polymetric containers and accessories that meet UN DOT requirements for hazardous material transport.
- Lead product enhancements and derivative designs to improve performance and manufacturing efficiency.
- Create functional prototypes and partner cross-functionally to complete design verification, validation, and qualification testing.
- Develop and execute experimental test plans to assess component performance and reliability in fluid storage and delivery systems.
- Collaborate with simulation teams to run FEA, CFD, and moldflow analysis for design optimization.
- Drive technical innovation to strengthen capabilities across Product Development and Manufacturing.
- Support technical leaders in a stage-gate development process, ensuring assigned tasks are delivered with quality and on time.
- Use Gantt charts and other project management tools to plan, track, and report engineering project progress.
- Conduct root cause investigations to resolve design, manufacturing, or performance issues and implement improvements.
- Communicate clearly across functions on design specifications, drawing interpretation, and compliance with part standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5–7 years of hands-on product design and development experience.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks CAD.
- Understanding of UN DOT regulations for hazardous material packaging.
- Experience with injection molding, blow molding, and rotational molding.
- Familiarity with polymeric materials used in mechanical and fluid applications.
- Track record of launching new products into manufacturing and market.
- Strong project management skills, including Gantt charts, timelines, and milestone tracking.
- Skilled in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Experience with fluid handling systems and high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (preferred).
- Experience with Design FMEA and Process FMEA (preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong team orientation and collaborative mindset.
- Quick learner with adaptability to new tasks and processes.
- Skilled in ideation, abstract design, and computer modeling.

- Compensation: $93,000 - $116,500 per year range (actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role)
- Pay: $95,500.00 - $119,500.00 per year
