Senior IT Security Engineer

This role is on-site in Pleasant Prairie, WI, supporting a large U.S. e-commerce environment by safeguarding IT security platforms through practical security design, implementation, and decision support.

In this Senior IT Security Engineer position, you will help shape security plans for new and existing systems, strengthen defenses against online threats, and reduce risk on complex initiatives where security and business outcomes intersect. You will also work closely with architects, developers, and leadership to ensure user access and network safety are addressed throughout delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and leadership to develop security plans for new systems, networks, and applications.
• Assess the company’s systems and technologies to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements to strengthen security.
• Lead security solution design and hands-on implementation, with a focus on user access to help keep networks safe.
• Manage and maintain IT security systems and software, including network setups and protective tools to defend against online threats.
• Support complex projects by reducing security risk, especially where changes could create business challenges.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in an enterprise-level IT environment.
• Proven experience with enterprise-level applications and security tools.
• CISSP, Security+ or related information security certifications preferred.
