Job Description
Senior Principal Analog Design Engineer for Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, focused on analog circuit design, modeling and analysis with system-level and PCB design verification tasks. This onsite role is based in Los Angeles, CA and requires an active Secret clearance.
Salary
USD 142,200 - 213,400 per yearly
Requirements
- Education: a bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, or a master’s degree with 6 years, or a PhD with 4 years in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields
- Experience in analog circuit design, modeling, and simulation
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Active US Government Secret clearance is required
- Experience with schematic capture and layout in Mentor Xpedition, Cadence, and/or Altium Designer
- Experience with circuit and subsystem test and troubleshooting
- Ability to work onsite full-time in Woodland Hills, CA
Responsibilities
- Under minimal supervision, perform analog circuit design and analysis to support development of new products
- Design tasks include system level requirements analysis, subsystem level requirements development, conceptual design, preliminary design, and detailed design through design verification and characterization
- Analysis tasks include circuit modeling, simulation and analysis as well as signal and power integrity analyses on PCB designs
