Job Description
This onsite role in Tucson, AZ offers the opportunity to lead the development of test equipment for DoD programs, supported by a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage cost and schedule, and ensure seamless software and test equipment integration. A U.S. government security clearance is required to begin.
Salary: USD 132,400 - 251,600 per year. Location: Tucson, AZ onsite. Security: Active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain interim clearance prior to start; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities
- Guide multidisciplined teams in developing test equipment for DoD programs
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks within a production environment
- Contribute to cost and schedule management planning
- Communicate project status to senior management
- Troubleshoot software and test equipment issues
- Develop requirements for software products
- Demonstrate strong written and interpersonal communication with Program Management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and ten years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree and seven years of relevant experience
- At least ten years developing and integrating software applications using languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, or Visual Basic
- At least ten years of professional engineering experience using integrated development environments and debugging tools to troubleshoot software implementations and ensure software integrity
- Experience with Windows Operating System, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Microsoft Azure DevOps Server
- Familiarity with laboratory test instrumentation, electronics, and software (for example NI VISA, NI Measurement and Automation Explorer, NI Switch Executive)
- Typically requires at least two years of experience managing Test Equipment on a DoD compliant information system, including program management or project team leadership
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued (Secret) security clearance prior to start; U.S. citizenship required
