Martinus Rail offers an on-site leadership opportunity in Oklahoma City with a competitive compensation range and room to grow. In this Senior Project Engineer role, you will plan, coordinate and deliver major rail infrastructure projects, mentor junior engineers, and help the team meet safety, schedule, budget and quality goals. You will collaborate with clients, consultants and subcontractors to drive practical engineering solutions in a safety-focused environment that values continuous improvement.

Compensation and Location

Salary: USD 140,000 – 170,000 per year

Location: Oklahoma City, OK, onsite

Responsibilities

  • Oversee planning and delivery of engineering work for rail infrastructure projects.
  • Create and manage project schedules, work packages, and construction approaches.
  • Coordinate technical design reviews and resolve engineering issues.
  • Administer project documentation, reporting, and quality assurance processes.
  • Track costs, prepare forecasts, and monitor productivity.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Assist with procurement and contract administration tasks.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and other project team members.
  • Pursue continuous improvement and innovative engineering solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience delivering civil, rail, or heavy infrastructure projects.
  • Experience leading complex construction projects from planning through completion.
  • Strong knowledge of project controls, cost management, and scheduling.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Collaborative leadership style with mentoring abilities.
  • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to safety and delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Professional Engineer licensure (P.Eng.) or eligibility is highly regarded.
