At Ascentive Group, a small government-site software team is building and enhancing a knowledge management application on site in Chantilly, Virginia. This Senior Software Engineer role focuses on delivering new features and extending the platform, with an emphasis on secure, reliable web capabilities within a mission-critical environment. The position demands a hands-on engineer who can collaborate closely with a compact group to push the product forward while meeting stringent clearance requirements.

Job Overview

We are seeking a strong web developer to join a tight-knit team of about 10 people. The role centers on developing new features and expanding a knowledge management application used at a government site in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new features and extend the knowledge management application.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (must have a CI or Full Scope Poly)
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Full-time, in-person at a government location in Northern Virginia
  • 5+ years of experience developing front-end code for web applications
  • 3+ years of experience with Angular 10 or newer (Node.js experience may be considered depending on team makeup)
  • Top Secret clearance (Required)

Location & Details

Chantilly, VA, onsite on a government site. This is a full-time role with standard business hours and some flexibility.

  • Top Secret (Required)
