Senior Software Engineer - Radar Control & Signal Processing

Senior Software Engineer role focused on real-time radar antenna simulation within Lockheed Martin's Radar Control & Signal Processing program, emphasizing C++/CUDA architecture, high-performance signal processing, and agile leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the core C++ and CUDA architecture for real-time radar antenna simulation, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and deterministic performance on NVIDIA GPU clusters.
• Develop high-performance simulation algorithms, signal processing pipelines, and device drivers to meet strict latency and accuracy targets.
• Design, build, and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines (GitLab/GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar) to enable rapid, reliable software delivery.
• Collaborate with system engineers and test personnel to integrate new capabilities, troubleshoot issues, and validate performance in lab environments.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, manage sprint planning and backlog grooming, and mentor junior engineers to promote engineering best practices.
• Work with systems engineers, radar scientists, and program managers to translate mission requirements into robust software solutions.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Government security clearance at the SECRET level.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution.
• 5 to 10 years of professional engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on C++ development in performance-critical environments.
• Experience facilitating agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and decomposing features into actionable tasks.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and software design patterns.
• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Location

Location: Moorestown, NJ (onsite); Base salary range: USD 91,000 - 172,488 per year.

Work Arrangement

Onsite full-time position located at a Lockheed Martin facility.

Schedule

Work schedule: 4x10 hour days, 3 days off per week.

Security and Eligibility

Security clearance: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Clearance level: Secret.
