Software Engineer

The Waldinger Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer in Des Moines, IA to design, build, and continuously improve software that supports business operations. The position involves hands-on work throughout the development lifecycle, from implementation to integration and validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications that address real needs for business users, using provided documentation and requirements.
• Deliver high-quality software and data solutions to support ongoing development projects.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party platforms, and assist with evaluating new vendor solutions as the technology stack expands.
• Conduct QA testing, coordinate end-user testing, and ensure delivered functionality works as intended before release.
• Provide time estimates for assigned projects and keep your supervisor updated on progress.
• Maintain clear records of requirements, issues, and solutions so the broader team can benefit from your work.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• No travel required.
