Job Description

Paytm One97 Communications is hiring a Software Engineer to help build scalable, high-performance software solutions for its digital platforms. This onsite role in Storden, MN focuses on delivering reliable web applications, modern APIs, and microservices-based systems supported by cloud infrastructure.

What you’ll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using programming languages including JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, and Ruby on Rails.
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs that support communication between software components and external systems.
  • Create front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and Express.
  • Architect solutions using microservices, design patterns, and cloud infrastructure (including AWS and Azure) to support high availability and scalability.
  • Work in Agile teams by planning sprints, performing code reviews with version control tools like GitHub and SVN, and implementing CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments.
  • Apply security best practices, including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), and help ensure compliance with industry standards throughout development.
  • Join system design discussions focused on scalability, performance optimization, and API development for complex applications.

What you bring

  • Proven experience in software engineering with a strong background in IT infrastructure and web development.
  • Hands-on knowledge across technologies such as Python, JavaScript (including React), Java, C#, C, VBA, .NET, and Ruby on Rails.
  • Experience designing scalable systems using microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure for deploying and managing applications at scale.
  • Background working in Agile environments using tools like GitHub, SVN, and Jenkins or other CI/CD platforms.
  • Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL and SQL Server.
  • Understanding of system design principles for building robust APIs and integrating third-party services through REST or SOAP protocols.
