Software Engineer (AHT)

Software Engineer (AHT) at Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Bellevue, NE participates in the full software development lifecycle with a focus on software engineering and Agile collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Complete work independently and as part of an Agile team
• Support the team in delivering necessary software on schedule
• Solve complex problems through innovative and creative solutions
• Collaborate with software designers and software engineers in planning, design, development, and utilization of software systems
• Regularly demonstrate progress to customers

Requirements

• A high school diploma with a minimum of 6 years of software development experience
• A Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field with a minimum of 2 years of software development experience
• A Master of Science degree in a STEM field with 0 years of software development experience
• Experience as a Full Stack Software Developer
• Demonstrated experience in C and C++
• Proven experience with Linux OS
• Working knowledge of the Agile development processes
• Familiarity with Test automation practices and tools (Integration testing, Unit testing, Behavioral testing, e.g. GoogleTest, Eggplant)
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with small technical teams
• Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite
• Ability to work full time on-site in Bellevue, NE
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret Security Clearance
