Software Engineer for Linux Applications in Crypto and Cross Domain Solutions

General Dynamics Mission Systems, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for Linux Applications focused on Crypto and Cross Domain solutions. The role supports a cross-functional team designing and developing next generation cryptography, with hands-on work across Linux-based development and related system environments.

Role Overview

In this position, you will contribute to the design and development of next generation cryptography as part of a cross functional team. The work includes Linux application development and may include embedded Linux debugging. You may also support secure separation efforts and opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
• 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree with 6 months of job-related experience.

Clearance and Citizenship Requirements

• Department of Defense Secret security clearance required at time of hire.
• Selected applicants will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Due to the nature of work performed within company facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Salary

USD 100,219 - 111,180 per year.
