Software Engineer – Platform Performance & Data Analytics

Software engineer focused on designing, building, and delivering advanced analytics for platform performance metrics, contributing across the full solution lifecycle within a cross-functional engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to implementing software solutions within large-scale, data-driven ecosystems with emphasis on scalability and long-term maintainability.
• Assist in translating stakeholder requirements into technical designs and development tasks under guidance from senior engineers.
• Help uphold system technical standards across software, tooling, and data platforms.
• Support the development of proof-of-concept prototypes to validate design approaches and reduce technical risk.
• Participate in formal design reviews and comply with engineering standards and applicable cybersecurity controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming in Python, C++, or C#, with solid understanding of object-oriented programming, APIs, and common design patterns.
• Experience with a collaborative software development process, including peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, and defect tracking.
• Familiarity with agile software development tools and methodologies such as Git, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and GitLab.
• U.S. citizen; position located at a facility requiring special access and a Secret clearance updated within the last five years.
