This Senior Software Engineer position sits on the C2BMC-Regional ART and focuses on designing, developing, and testing Java applications in a missile defense environment. An active DoD Final Secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java applications
Support software testing and resolve issues across multiple baselines
Perform in-depth analysis and provide technical support for systems software, including complex problem resolution
Translate system specifications into operating system level applications
Assist with design, coding, benchmarking, debugging, and documentation
Coordinate with other system support groups
Produce software design artifacts and participate in design and code reviews

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in software engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and 4+ years of professional experience
Active DoD Final Secret security clearance is required
Experience developing Java-based applications on UNIX/Linux
Experience in a structured, process-based, integrated team environment
Experience using configuration management tools (Git, GitLab, etc.)
Experience employing standard system engineering design artifacts such as requirements, use cases, and SysML diagrams
Security+ or equivalent certification may be required within 60 days of starting
