Job Description

Lockheed Martin offers a challenging, mission-driven software engineering role onsite in King of Prussia, PA. Responsibilities

  • Leverage knowledge of hardware and software, information processing, and SME/user insights to develop robust software applications.
  • Plan, conduct, and coordinate comprehensive software development activities across the project lifecycle.
  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that implements logical and mathematical solutions to mission-related challenges.
  • Apply appropriate standards, processes, and tools to guide development efforts throughout the lifecycle.
  • Engage in code peer reviews, demonstrations, data analysis, and test planning to ensure software quality and adherence to standards.
  • Prepare operating procedures, generate development documentation, and analyze system capabilities to inform decision making.
  • Participate in failure investigations, anomaly resolution, and retrospective events to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience developing backend application software on Linux using C/C++ or Java.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile practices (SAFe, Kanban, Scrum).
  • Proactive, inventive approach to delivering software that meets mission requirements and efficiently resolves defects.
  • Proven ability to design, test, and debug complex software with multiple interdependencies and interfaces.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required, with willingness to obtain a polygraph as needed.
