Software Engineer Staff
Job Description

Responsibilities
- Leverage knowledge of hardware and software, information processing, and SME/user insights to develop robust software applications.
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate comprehensive software development activities across the project lifecycle.
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that implements logical and mathematical solutions to mission-related challenges.
- Apply appropriate standards, processes, and tools to guide development efforts throughout the lifecycle.
- Engage in code peer reviews, demonstrations, data analysis, and test planning to ensure software quality and adherence to standards.
- Prepare operating procedures, generate development documentation, and analyze system capabilities to inform decision making.
- Participate in failure investigations, anomaly resolution, and retrospective events to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experience developing backend application software on Linux using C/C++ or Java.
- Hands-on experience with Agile practices (SAFe, Kanban, Scrum).
- Proactive, inventive approach to delivering software that meets mission requirements and efficiently resolves defects.
- Proven ability to design, test, and debug complex software with multiple interdependencies and interfaces.
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required, with willingness to obtain a polygraph as needed.
