Sr. Electrical Designer or Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys to gather field data
• Design power distribution systems and perform related calculations
• Perform lighting calculations and design using AGI software
• Design fire alarm and other special electrical systems
• Assess electrical systems and prepare technical reports
• Prepare technical construction specifications
• Develop projects from concept through completion
• Mentor and collaborate with junior designers and CAD technicians
• Manage projects from design through construction

Requirements

• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and self motivated
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Experience with AutoCAD is required; REVIT experience is a plus
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience designing building electrical systems, including power distribution and lighting, and fire alarm systems
