Sr. RF Design Engineer

Daico Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior RF Design Engineer to lead design efforts in RF and microwave systems, including control components, high power amplifiers, transceivers and multi-assembly configurations, as well as high power radar transmitters. The role involves reviewing customer SCDs and defining hardware to meet required specifications.

Role Overview

The Senior RF Design Engineer provides design leadership across RF and microwave domains. Responsibilities encompass control components such as RF switches, phase shifters, limiters, up converters and down converters, as well as high power amplifiers, transceivers and radar transmitters or sub-systems. The incumbent will review customer SCDs and define hardware to satisfy customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide design leadership in one or more of the following areas: RF/Microwave control components (including RF switches, phase shifters, limiters, up converters, down converters, etc.), high power amplifiers, transceivers/multi-assemblies, high power radar transmitters/sub-systems.
• Review customer SCDs and effectively define and design hardware to meet customer requirements.

Requirements

• Extensive practical design and analysis experiences in RF/Microwave products.
• Broad knowledge of RF systems.
• Ability to analyze and resolve highly complex technical problems quickly and independently.
• Successful product development experiences, especially RF design experiences in meeting rugged military requirements.
• Hands-on RF experiences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including technical writing ability.
• Fluency in RF/Microwave simulation tools such as HP ADS, etc.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
• 7+ years of applicable experiences.
