Sr. Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, maintain and enhance business processes and the related software applications to meet user needs within the assigned area.
• Apply advanced technical skills to build, implement and sustain business software within defined timelines using the required tools.
• Use independent judgment to craft technical solutions aligned with business requirements and strategy.
• Provide ongoing information, support, mentoring and training for internal customers, team members and IT.
• Lead or contribute to end-to-end project delivery, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment and ongoing support.
• Test and debug complex application systems to ensure accuracy, standards compliance, performance and timely delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, system and integration issues in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
• Document application systems and procedures, including test scripts, maintenance, processes, training and customer documentation, ensuring compliance with standards and proper handoff to testing teams.
• Technically lead moderately to complex projects, guide other team members and external vendors when needed, and prioritize work to meet organizational goals.
• Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn new technologies with a proven record of self-development and growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an IT related discipline or related experience.
• 5 to 7 years of programming and development experience, with level depending on candidate qualifications.
• Primary technical skills: strong experience with Oracle EPM Cloud; solid SQL and Oracle PL/SQL development; proven end-to-end project experience; strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis; ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
• Additional desired skills: Oracle Developer, Java, Groovy scripting; system integration experience using APIs, HTML, XML, Oracle E-Business Suite; MS Office Suite including Visio; Unix, Linux, Windows; MS SQL Server.
• Proactive problem-solving, multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail with thorough documentation skills.
• Strong communication and project management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to analyze complex assignments and create solutions.
• Ability to grasp abstract concepts.

• Salary: USD 104,000 - 146,000 per year
