Stress MRB Engineer

The Stress MRB Engineer role with Can-Tech Services is an onsite contract position based in Savannah, GA. The successful candidate will manage high complexity engineering projects, render authoritative technical decisions, and lead development to optimize product performance, cost, and schedule. Compensation is USD 80 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Oversees a complete engineering project of high complexity within defined scope.
• Delivers technically authoritative decisions and recommendations that significantly influence broad engineering activities.
• Applies advanced principles, theories and concepts drawn from broad expertise or specialized knowledge.
• Drives the development of innovative principles and approaches.
• Works autonomously to identify improved methods and procedures to optimize product performance, cost, and scheduling.
• Operates under consultative direction while exercising independent judgment to achieve objectives.
• Develops standards and guidelines across diverse engineering activities.
• Plans and investigates broad, critical areas where precedents are lacking for the program.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions. This role requires 13 years of experience in the specific technical discipline, or 15 years of broad engineering experience across several disciplines with a Bachelor's degree. Credit toward related advanced degrees is limited to 2 years for a Master's and 4 years for a PhD in applicable fields.
