Job Description
An Express Employment Professionals opportunity in Roseville, CA supports an entry-level Structural Engineer role focused on structural precast concrete systems. This on-site position blends design, analysis, and documentation work, with guidance from licensed engineers as you build experience toward PE licensure.
The role supports professional growth while contributing to a range of project deliverables, from calculations and drawings to document review and occasional site observations.
Role Summary
- Assist in the design, analysis, and production of structural precast concrete systems for a variety of projects
- Support development of skills required to progress toward PE licensure under licensed engineer guidance
- Full-time, in-person work based in Roseville, CA
Responsibilities
- Assist with structural analysis and design of precast concrete components including wall panels, beams, columns, and floor systems
- Prepare engineering calculations under supervision
- Develop erection and fabrication drawings using CAD and BIM tools
- Review architectural, structural, and contract documents for accuracy
- Assist in the design of prestressed and post-tensioned concrete members
- Coordinate with project managers, detailers, production staff, and field teams
- Review shop drawings and related production documents
- Perform field visits and site observations as needed
- Support engineering staff during project meetings
- Assist with product development and standardization efforts
- Maintain accurate engineering records and project documentation
- Help ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and industry standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis preferred
- 2-5 years of structural engineering experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

- RISA, RAM, ETABS, SAP2000

Compensation
- USD 80,000 - 115,000 per year
