Systems/AI Software Engineer
Job Description
This role supports innovative research by engineering software that spans systems, AI, and developer platforms. Based in Redmond, WA, the Systems/AI Software Engineer will design, build, test, debug, and maintain applications and tooling to help advanced research move from concept to reliable implementation.

Compensation
- Salary: USD 53 to 57 per hour
Core Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, debug, and maintain software across systems, AI, and developer platforms.
- Develop software using programming languages including C/C++, Python, and PowerShell, with potential work in Rust and/or C#.
- Work with operating systems, system components, virtualization, and systems infrastructure.
- Build automation tools that support software engineering, testing, debugging, and developer workflows.
- Develop and integrate AI-powered solutions for software engineering and program analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of software development and systems software design experience.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience troubleshooting and performing in-depth testing on complex software systems.
- Proficiency with languages including C/C++, Python, and PowerShell; familiarity with Rust and/or C# is a plus.
