Software Engineer

Rapid Cycle Solutions, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to support strategic research and development efforts and to assist with evaluating system design and software engineering support. The focus of the work is transitioning primarily open source prototypes and algorithms into a proprietary partner infrastructure for deployment, with an onsite role in Chantilly, VA.

This position requires an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph security clearance and U.S. citizenship (no exceptions). The role offers a salary range of USD 160,000 to 200,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Install externally developed web applications on cloud environment infrastructure.
• Ensure web applications communicate with external and internal databases using API keys.
• Modify web applications as required, with the ability to work independently on project needs.
• Provide front end development to host models and connect APIs to demo and transition tools in software.
• Utilize AI/ML models in support of front end development integration.
• Perform local travel/POV on an as-needed basis within the local place of performance.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• U.S. citizenship required (no exceptions).
• Experience with full stack web development using JavaScript, PHP, R, Python, NodeJS, and/or MongoDB.
• Experience working with client-side technologies such as Angular, Bootstrap, Material, and jQuery.
• Experience with REST APIs and data ETL.
• Experience with Linux System Administration and associated scripting languages such as Bash.
• Experience with NoSQL and MySQL databases.
• Experience with web app installation and deployment and with web-based software development.
• Hands-on experience working within cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar.
• Experience and knowledge of AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) models.
