Systems Engineering Field Tech Support Asc Manager
Job Description
Lockheed Martin Corporation in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineering Field Tech Support Asc Manager to lead depot logistics and sustainment operations onsite. This role directs MRO activities and contract execution across multiple contracts, coordinating with sustainment engineers, suppliers, and customer stakeholders to ensure mission success.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily depot logistics operations, supervising material receipt, inventory control, and final shipments.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate a multidisciplinary team, handling recognition, disciplinary actions, and performance development.
- Collaborate with sustainment engineers and suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure mission success.
- Prioritize and allocate resources to support retrofit, repair, and inspection schedules while minimizing bottlenecks.
- Develop, update, and enforce SOPs governing all logistics processes.
- Utilize analytics tools to analyze operational data, identify efficiencies, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
- Oversee contract compliance across diverse contract types, ensuring cost-effective delivery and adherence to terms.
- Communicate status, risks, and corrective actions to senior leadership and customer stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience.
- Proven performance delivering sustainment-type contract requirements.
- Experience with contractor and organic depot operations.
- Proven ability to operate within a matrix-structured organization.
- History of sustained high performance.
- Strong ability to communicate with senior management and customers.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and Full Spectrum Leadership attributes.
- Ability to lead, coach, train, and manage LSE personnel while owning LSE scope across technical, schedule, and financial aspects.
- Eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse workforce.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office.
- Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
