Talent Acquisition Partner - Civil Engineering

Based in Overland Park, KS (onsite), Quanta Services seeks a Talent Acquisition Partner to build high-performing civil engineering teams by partnering with hiring managers to identify, attract, and hire top engineering talent while delivering a best-in-class candidate experience.

Responsibilities

• Strategizes and manages the full recruitment lifecycle, from planning through onboarding.
• Collaborates with department managers to draft precise job descriptions and hiring criteria.
• Identifies and implements efficient recruiting methods aligned with role requirements, industry standards, and organizational needs.
• Supports job postings and advertisement processes.
• Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
• Coordinates interview schedules and prepares interview questions and evaluation materials.
• Participates in the interview process, conducting or attending interviews with managers, directors, and stakeholders.
• Partners with the hiring manager and HR staff during offers, proposing salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other details.
• Collects and analyzes recruiting data to track metrics such as time to fill and source effectiveness.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Attends college job fairs and recruiting sessions as needed.
• Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
• Performs special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent field; or an equivalent combination of work experience and education.
• 3+ years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.
• Experience recruiting or sourcing for civil engineering environments is preferred.
• Strong LinkedIn sourcing knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
