Talent Acquisition Partner - Civil Engineering
Job Description
Based in Overland Park, KS (onsite), Quanta Services seeks a Talent Acquisition Partner to build high-performing civil engineering teams by partnering with hiring managers to identify, attract, and hire top engineering talent while delivering a best-in-class candidate experience.
Responsibilities
- Strategizes and manages the full recruitment lifecycle, from planning through onboarding.
- Collaborates with department managers to draft precise job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identifies and implements efficient recruiting methods aligned with role requirements, industry standards, and organizational needs.
- Supports job postings and advertisement processes.
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
- Coordinates interview schedules and prepares interview questions and evaluation materials.
- Participates in the interview process, conducting or attending interviews with managers, directors, and stakeholders.
- Partners with the hiring manager and HR staff during offers, proposing salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other details.
- Collects and analyzes recruiting data to track metrics such as time to fill and source effectiveness.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Attends college job fairs and recruiting sessions as needed.
- Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
- Performs special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent field; or an equivalent combination of work experience and education.
- 3+ years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.
- Experience recruiting or sourcing for civil engineering environments is preferred.
- Strong LinkedIn sourcing knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
