UI/UX Associate Engineer - Early Career
Job Description
Lockheed Martin RMS is seeking an Early Career UI/UX Associate Engineer to prototype, design, and develop user-centered display solutions that enhance usability and the overall user experience. This onsite role is based in Mount Laurel, New Jersey and targets engineers with documented experience in the field alongside a bachelor’s degree.

An early career UI/UX Associate Engineer at Lockheed Martin RMS concentrating on the prototyping, design, and development of user-centered display systems to improve the user experience and usability.
Responsibilities
- Prototype, design, and develop user-centered display solutions.
- Ensure display solutions meet customer needs with a creative, intuitive, safe, and effective display system that enhances the user experience.
- Contribute to display system development to improve usability and user experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Machine Interaction (HMI), Human Factors Engineering (HFE), Human Systems Integration (HSI), or a related field.
- Familiarity with Graphical User Interface (GUI) design for optimal usability while considering back-end logic.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java or C++.
- US Citizen.
- Eligibility for government security clearance and facility access.

Compensation
Salary range: USD 61,500 - 116,455 per year.
Location and Work Arrangement
Location: Mount Laurel, New Jersey. This is onsite full-time work at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule
- Schedule for this position: 4x10 hour days, 3 days off per week.
- Base salary range applies to the New Jersey location.
Security Clearance
This position requires eligibility for a government security clearance. US citizenship is required for consideration, with the ability to obtain a facility access clearance.
