UI/UX Design Engineer
Job Description
StradIT is seeking a UI/UX Design Engineer to shape end-to-end user experiences for enterprise web and mobile products. This onsite role in Dallas, TX brings together research, prototyping, accessibility, and delivery partnerships with product and engineering teams. If you enjoy taking ideas from discovery through validated design outcomes, you will have the opportunity to raise usability, reduce friction, and strengthen design consistency across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Run user research, conduct stakeholder interviews, and perform usability assessments.
- Evaluate user journeys, workflows, and pain points to identify improvement opportunities.
- Produce UX artifacts including personas, journey maps, information architecture, and task flows.
- Define end-to-end user experiences that align with business objectives.
- Design wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes from concept to validation.
- Create intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces, including compliance with WCAG.
- Maintain design standards, style guides, and reusable design components, supporting consistent experiences across web and mobile.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Engineering teams across the product lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support product discovery activities.
- Translate business requirements into development-ready design specifications, and review implementations to confirm adherence to approved designs.
- Conduct usability testing, gather user feedback, and analyze data and user behavior to drive continuous improvements.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging UX practices; advocate for inclusive, user-centered design.
- Support design reviews and quality assurance activities while promoting performance, usability, and strong customer experience outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of UI/UX design experience for enterprise web or mobile applications.
- Strong portfolio showing end-to-end UX and UI work.
- Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user journeys, and design systems.
- Solid understanding of accessibility, responsive design, and usability principles.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing financial services, fintech, or enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with Design Systems and Component Libraries.
- Understanding of Micro Frontend (MFE) architecture and modern web technologies.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or React.
- Experience with user analytics and A/B testing.
