EcoMicron Inc. invites applications for an on-site Technical Support Engineer based in Cedar Park, TX. The role provides a direct liaison between customers and the factory, delivering installation, operation, calibration, and maintenance support. It encompasses Alpha Site Support to Engineering as it relates to installing, operating, calibrating, servicing, and testing new hardware, processes, or software designs in-house on engineering tools, along with Beta Site Support for similar activities at customer sites. On-site, you will deliver expert troubleshooting and start-up services, and you will present system upgrades and technical demonstrations to customers.

Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison and field escalation focal point between customers and the factory.
- Provide Alpha Site Support to Engineering for installation, operation, calibration, service, and testing of new hardware, processes, or software designs in-house on engineering tools.
- Provide Beta Site Support for installation, operation, calibration, service, and testing of new designs at customer sites.
- Offer expert on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for complex electro-mechanical systems at customer facilities; perform complete installation and relocation start-up services.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems, conduct diagnostic procedures to isolate issues, minimize downtime, and determine corrective actions as required.
- Deliver presentations to customers on system upgrades, support plans, and technical demonstrations.
- Lead training sessions for customers and internal teams, sharing expertise on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, and sales to address customer needs and provide feedback for product improvement.
- Create and maintain detailed service reports, technical documentation, and equipment manuals.
- Provide technical instruction and mentoring for junior-level engineers.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and 3 to 6 years of relevant experience.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Quick comprehension of semiconductor front-end equipment.
- Prior knowledge of semiconductor OEM products and customer base.
