A220 Final Assembly Line/MRB Liaison Engineer

Compensation
Salary: USD 68,911 - 181,673 per year.
Responsibilities
- Review quality-reported non-conformances and determine root causes.
- Assess manufacturing deviations and their impact on the assembly.
- Prepare engineering dispositions with drawings or sketches aligned to company and international standards.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to support decisions.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering Specialists in Stress, Manufacturing/Production, and Aerodynamics.
- Coordinate with Methods/Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics to resolve operational or engineering issues on the aircraft.
- Facilitate cross-site information exchange to share technical knowledge.
- Coordinate with MAP offices in Spain, Mexico, and India to properly address client requirements.
- Provide on-the-job mentorship to MRB candidates.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
- Relocation to Mobile, Alabama or commuting to the Atlanta site is required.
- Bachelor's degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering or related field.
- Minimum of five years MRB/MAP experience in commercial/business aircraft, or eight years design experience in aerospace.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft structures and system installation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of mechanics of materials, stress analysis, and composite materials.
- Willingness and ability to obtain Engineering MRB delegation after on-the-job training.
- Experience in a design office (design or stress) for airframe structures.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 or similar CAD software.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of dedication and responsibility in a fast-paced partner/supplier environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
