Own quality assurance for production processes and finished products through audits, testing oversight, corrective actions, and document reviews.

Collect, organize, and analyze project data; generate and/or review quality and project metrics
Design inspection, test, and evaluation methods for production processes, equipment, and finished products
Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols for processing materials
Analyze reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates to quality standards
Conduct audits, assign corrective actions, and verify corrective action implementation
Witness and/or monitor test activities as required
Review documents, drawings, and instructions to confirm conformance to requirements
Resolve problems of moderate scope within quality and production contexts
Participate in project reviews and meetings, including technical design reviews and technical peer reviews
Interface with engineering disciplines, manufacturing, program management, and other quality personnel

Security clearance: Department of Defense Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET with Polygraph eligibility is required at time of hire
Selected applicants must be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Citizenship: Due to work performed within company facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related Science or Mathematics field) plus minimum 5 years relevant experience; or Master’s degree plus minimum 3 years relevant experience
Fully proficient knowledge of engineering methodologies, tools, and standards (software, electrical, systems, etc.)
Fully proficient knowledge of ISO 9001:2008, CMMI, ISO 14001ASME, ANSI, EIA, and related standards
Fully proficient knowledge of inspection and measurement tools and techniques

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related specialized field (or equivalent experience) with at least 5 years relevant experience; or Master’s degree with at least 3 years relevant experience
