Job Description

Own quality assurance for production processes and finished products through audits, testing oversight, corrective actions, and document reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and analyze project data; generate and/or review quality and project metrics
  • Design inspection, test, and evaluation methods for production processes, equipment, and finished products
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols for processing materials
  • Analyze reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates to quality standards
  • Conduct audits, assign corrective actions, and verify corrective action implementation
  • Witness and/or monitor test activities as required
  • Review documents, drawings, and instructions to confirm conformance to requirements
  • Resolve problems of moderate scope within quality and production contexts
  • Participate in project reviews and meetings, including technical design reviews and technical peer reviews
  • Interface with engineering disciplines, manufacturing, program management, and other quality personnel

Requirements

  • Security clearance: Department of Defense Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET with Polygraph eligibility is required at time of hire
  • Selected applicants must be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
  • Citizenship: Due to work performed within company facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
  • Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related Science or Mathematics field) plus minimum 5 years relevant experience; or Master’s degree plus minimum 3 years relevant experience
  • Fully proficient knowledge of engineering methodologies, tools, and standards (software, electrical, systems, etc.)
  • Fully proficient knowledge of ISO 9001:2008, CMMI, ISO 14001ASME, ANSI, EIA, and related standards
  • Fully proficient knowledge of inspection and measurement tools and techniques

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related specialized field (or equivalent experience) with at least 5 years relevant experience; or Master’s degree with at least 3 years relevant experience
  • Fully proficient knowledge of engineering methodologies, tools, and standards
  • Fully proficient knowledge of ISO 9001:2008, CMMI, ISO 14001ASME, ANSI, EIA, and related standards
  • Fully proficient knowledge of inspection and measurement tools and techniques

Salary: USD 105,814 - 117,387 per yearly
