Advanced Quality Software Engineer
Job Description
Own quality assurance for production processes and finished products through audits, testing oversight, corrective actions, and document reviews.
Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and analyze project data; generate and/or review quality and project metrics
- Design inspection, test, and evaluation methods for production processes, equipment, and finished products
- Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols for processing materials
- Analyze reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates to quality standards
- Conduct audits, assign corrective actions, and verify corrective action implementation
- Witness and/or monitor test activities as required
- Review documents, drawings, and instructions to confirm conformance to requirements
- Resolve problems of moderate scope within quality and production contexts
- Participate in project reviews and meetings, including technical design reviews and technical peer reviews
- Interface with engineering disciplines, manufacturing, program management, and other quality personnel
Requirements
- Security clearance: Department of Defense Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET with Polygraph eligibility is required at time of hire
- Selected applicants must be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Citizenship: Due to work performed within company facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
- Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related Science or Mathematics field) plus minimum 5 years relevant experience; or Master’s degree plus minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Fully proficient knowledge of engineering methodologies, tools, and standards (software, electrical, systems, etc.)
- Fully proficient knowledge of ISO 9001:2008, CMMI, ISO 14001ASME, ANSI, EIA, and related standards
- Fully proficient knowledge of inspection and measurement tools and techniques

What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related specialized field (or equivalent experience) with at least 5 years relevant experience; or Master’s degree with at least 3 years relevant experience
- Fully proficient knowledge of engineering methodologies, tools, and standards
- Fully proficient knowledge of ISO 9001:2008, CMMI, ISO 14001ASME, ANSI, EIA, and related standards
- Fully proficient knowledge of inspection and measurement tools and techniques

Salary: USD 105,814 - 117,387 per yearly
