Aerodynamics Test Engineer
Job Description
Boeing invites applications for an Aerodynamics Test Engineer, a role anchored in the NAART Lab in Huntington Beach, CA, to support wind tunnel and water tunnel testing onsite. The position emphasizes data acquisition, instrumentation troubleshooting, and the design of prototype benches and test equipment for sub‑scale flight vehicle configurations.
Responsibilities
- Operate and support wind tunnel and water tunnel testing at the NAART Lab in Huntington Beach, CA, focusing on sub‑scale configurations of flight vehicles.
- Manage laboratory operations including safety protocols, maintenance, planning and execution of experiments, data acquisition, and reporting.
- Coordinate with machine shops, other test labs and suppliers to fabricate and procure parts.
- Support proposal development and new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a non‑US equivalent qualification directly related to the work.
- At least 1 year of experience in mechanical or aerospace engineering or a related role.
- At least 1 year of experience working in a laboratory or similar testing environment.
- At least 1 year of experience with MATLAB, LabVIEW, and CAD tools.

Pay and Benefits
Summary Pay Range: $98,600 - $133,400. Boeing offers a Total Rewards package that includes competitive base pay, potential variable compensation, and a comprehensive benefits program. Eligibility for programs varies by location, hire date, and other factors.
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Required.

Security Clearance
