Backend Software Engineers

Backend Software Engineers are sought for the CommandIQ program with In-Depth Engineering Corporation, onsite in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. The position carries a salary range of USD 75,000 to 150,000 per year and comes with a comprehensive benefits package. This role collaborates across teams to design, implement, and test robust backend solutions within an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Technical Interchange Meetings to align on technical directions
• Support Agile Release Train scrums and planning sessions
• Break down high-level roadmap features into actionable work items
• Design, implement, integrate, and test software features
• Conduct peer reviews and assist in debugging issues as they arise
• Participate in technical discussions to address overarching software architecture needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers to clarify project requirements and stakeholder needs

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen with a valid passport
• Active Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or other STEM field
• 2+ years of professional experience
• Experience or familiarity with Rust (or C) and Java
• Exposure to backend containerization concepts using Docker
• Exposure or familiarity with gRPC for framework development
• Direct experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
