Job Description

Responsibilities

You will research, analyze, and reverse objective software and hardware, then design and release high-quality operational software aligned with Computer Network Operations missions. Key work includes:

  • Follow documented test and release processes established by the organization
  • Examine and document ARM architecture, then communicate objective system behavior to stakeholders and teammates
  • Implement software development using CI/CD practices, including GitLab for builds and merges
  • Analyze operational needs and foundational platform integration requirements to derive capability functional and quality requirements
  • Perform low-level debugging to isolate and resolve software and system defects
  • Design and implement solutions that perform in resource-restricted environments, typically using Objective-C or C++
  • Write or review software and system documentation
  • Support the development and execution of test procedures for software components
  • Communicate clearly across engineering teams, stakeholders, and customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 14 years of Software Engineering experience on programs/projects of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Alternatively, 4 additional years of Software Engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may substitute for the bachelor’s degree
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
  • Proficiency with C++, Objective-C, and ARM assembly (Thumb, 32-bit, 64-bit)
  • Experience with Python and reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro and Ghidra (or equivalents as applicable)
  • Familiarity with WiFi standards and protocols is a plus

Salary range: USD 206,550 to 279,450 per year
