Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements for ceramics and high-temperature coatings.
- Contribute to the development of innovative materials and processes.
- Serve as the technical interface between internal teams and external partners to coordinate technology development, design, production, quality and services.
- Proactively pursue public funding to support research and development projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Natural Sciences.
- 5-8+ years of related professional experience; more experience may be considered for a higher level. Masters level graduates with relevant research project work and/or internship experience may be considered.
- Experience with ceramic coatings, corrosion coatings, and thermal barrier coatings.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division focuses on low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. The team brings zero or low emission power generation, gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators under one roof, with decarbonization opportunities pursued through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
