Control Systems Engineer
Job Description
Join Anomatic onsite in New Albany, OH to lead control system projects that improve manufacturing efficiency and equipment workflow.
Responsibilities
- Develop Control System Requirement Specifications with Automation/System Design Engineers from a Sequence of Operations for existing and new equipment
- Create electrical schematics and enclosure layouts for custom assembly and process automation equipment
- Review and approve electrical documentation using AutoCAD Electrical and AutoCAD
- Produce material BOMs, obtain vendor quotes, and submit purchase requisitions to the purchasing department
- Ensure controls implementations operate safely and efficiently
- Support troubleshooting on the plant floor with Maintenance/Technicians across all manufacturing sites
- Serve as Controls Lead on internal and external projects, providing technical consultation to vendors for electrical/controls installations and modifications
- Develop test protocols and execute testing
- Program and troubleshoot pneumatic logic, continuous and batch process control, and servo motion control
- Work with Ethernet/IP communications, Inductive Automation Ignition, robot programming (Fanuc and Denso), and CNC machine controls and programming
- Apply knowledge of mechanical press controls
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Basic mechanical experience with related equipment
- Proven ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Experience with Six Sigma and/or Lean processes
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Demonstrated ability to recognize problems and develop and execute solutions
- Capability to lead cross-functional project teams; able to influence others and gain support for project plans and timelines
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written form
- Experience developing manufacturing processes, writing procedures, and training employees
- Good understanding of engineering drawings, BOMs, and operational procedures
- Project management experience, including involvement in or leadership of continuous improvement efforts aligned to corporate goals
- Database programming experience is a plus
- Computer Systems Networking (LAN) experience

Location: New Albany, OH (onsite) | Salary: USD 80,000 - 110,000 per year | Minimum experience: 5 years
