Data Engineer

Step into bet365’s AI & Automation department and help build intelligent, scalable data systems that support critical regulatory requirements and improve process efficiency. Based in Denver, CO (onsite), this role focuses on maintaining and evolving core data infrastructure while transitioning from established SQL Server environments to a modern GCP cloud platform.

What you’ll work on

You’ll play a hands-on role delivering regulatory data projects end to end, from requirements gathering through implementation. The team transforms complex data into solutions that prioritize data integrity, with the added advantage of collaborating in a function that leverages advanced cloud technologies and machine learning to explore ways to optimize performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of regulatory data projects, from gathering requirements to implementation
• Design, develop, and maintain robust T-SQL stored procedures and SSRS reports that support core business operations
• Shadow senior colleagues to gain practical exposure to GCP environments, with clear progression toward independent cloud development
• Use AI-powered tools to accelerate development cycles and streamline coding tasks
• Investigate and resolve complex data issues to ensure high data integrity and minimal disruption to critical processes
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide clear status updates and manage project timelines effectively
• Contribute to the knowledgebase and help evolve development standards for consistency across data solutions

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL Server 2014 or later
• Knowledge of the MSSQL BI Stack, including SSRS and SSIS
• Strong SQL skills with a focus on stored procedures
• Exposure to GCP, including BigQuery and Looker
• Familiarity with Gitlab or alternative source control platforms
