Data engineer

Apex Fintech Solutions is hiring a Data Engineer for a hybrid role in Austin, TX. What you’ll do

In this role, you will operate, maintain, and improve data quality across accuracy, timeliness, accessibility, and processing speed. You will design and maintain data pipelines, real-time databases, and data warehousing solutions so teams can rely on timely, high-quality data.

• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines with robustness and scalability to handle large volumes of data
• Develop and maintain real-time database systems and data warehousing solutions aligned to business needs
• Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement systems that enable critical business insights through analytics
• Improve data quality and reliability using modern data management techniques and technologies
• Identify system optimizations that reduce downtime and improve data processing efficiency
• Document data architecture processes and systems while adhering to industry standards and company policies
• Support data platform operations across all environments during business hours

Required skills

• Python proficiency
• 2+ years of experience with Cloud Data technologies
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of information with close attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with ETL processes using microservices

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
