Job Description

Build data pipelines and AI-integrated platforms for analyzing large-scale datasets while partnering with stakeholders to deliver answers to key business questions. In this onsite Data Engineer role in Bellevue, WA, you will design the tools and infrastructure that power data warehousing and ETL workflows, with a major focus on using Generative AI to improve data source discovery, pipeline development, and end-to-end data platform capabilities.

You will create practical solutions such as self-service experiences for stakeholders and intelligent agents that support Business Intelligence Engineers and Scientists in spotting emerging opportunities. The work is designed to help you see the impact of your engineering decisions firsthand, from data modeling through deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Design tools and infrastructure for analyzing large volumes of data
  • Work on big data warehousing problems
  • Partner with stakeholders to design and implement data solutions that address key business questions
  • Apply Generative AI to optimize data source discovery and pipeline development
  • Build intelligent agents to help Business Intelligence Engineers and Scientists identify emerging opportunities
  • Create self-service capabilities for stakeholders
  • Develop AI-integrated data platforms

Requirements

  • 1+ years of data engineering experience
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience with one or more query languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala)
  • Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, KornShell)
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
  • Experience with any ETL tool such as Informatica, ODI, SSIS, BODI, Datastage, etc.

Preferred Qualifications
