Job Description

Williams Companies is seeking an Engineer Sr. (Division Engineer III/Sr) to support technical and economic evaluations tied to new and existing facilities. In this hybrid Salt Lake City, UT role, you will also conduct performance testing, apply specialty expertise to large-scope projects, and present results while working independently and alongside cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a range of sophisticated assignments using experience, innovation, and sound judgment
  • May supervise the work of others
  • Demonstrate deep technical expertise in a specialty, geographic area, or operational function to drive effective completion of large-scope projects
  • Prepare and deliver presentations
  • Anticipate internal and external customer needs by assessing requirements and identifying solutions
  • Interpret internal and external business challenges and improve products, processes, or services
  • Collaborate with teams to support compliance, build improvement plans, and meet training needs
  • Champion process, procedure, and safety standards
  • Monitor and control costs and project resources
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university, OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
  • Minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with safety as a main priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skills
  • Proficiency in engineering specialties spanning more than one subject area

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management experience
