Division Engineer III/Sr
Job Description
Williams Companies is seeking an Engineer Sr. (Division Engineer III/Sr) to support technical and economic evaluations tied to new and existing facilities. In this hybrid Salt Lake City, UT role, you will also conduct performance testing, apply specialty expertise to large-scope projects, and present results while working independently and alongside cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a range of sophisticated assignments using experience, innovation, and sound judgment
- May supervise the work of others
- Demonstrate deep technical expertise in a specialty, geographic area, or operational function to drive effective completion of large-scope projects
- Prepare and deliver presentations
- Anticipate internal and external customer needs by assessing requirements and identifying solutions
- Interpret internal and external business challenges and improve products, processes, or services
- Collaborate with teams to support compliance, build improvement plans, and meet training needs
- Champion process, procedure, and safety standards
- Monitor and control costs and project resources
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university, OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with safety as a main priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skills
- Proficiency in engineering specialties spanning more than one subject area
