Electrical Controls Engineer

Ultra Tech Machinery Inc., a well-established manufacturing process solutions provider within the HEH group, delivers automation systems, machine systems, and equipment remanufacturing to a diverse client base. The company seeks an Electrical Controls Engineer to join its onsite team in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, to design and implement electrical control systems that meet project requirements. This role requires a minimum of three years of hands-on experience and close collaboration with teammates across engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create electrical control systems aligned with project functional requirements.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete these tasks.

Requirements

• In-depth programming knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMI software
• Programming knowledge of Siemens and Fanuc CNCs (experience in these areas is a plus)
• Servo motor and drive selection and commissioning
• Ability to work in a team environment to effectively commission systems
• Generating bills of materials
• Creating and analyzing system risk assessments
• Proficient at generating electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD
• Ethernet/IP and Profibus experience
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and UL standards
• Ensure standards and safety procedures are followed
• Willingness to work overtime as necessary to meet customer project commitments

Education and Experience

• Education: Associate degree preferred
• Minimum experience: 3 years
• PLC Programming / Integration experience: 5 years (Preferred)
