Electrical Engineer, PE I
Job Description
Lead technical electrical design and studies as an Engineer of Record within an integrated project team.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, develop, and evaluate electrical systems and solutions
- Improve and maintain existing systems or support brand new project efforts
- Design and draft blueprints for electrical systems
- Visit systems in the field as part of project execution and validation
- Apply engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of assigned work
- Perform engineering work under minimal supervision
- Address complex issues and problems, escalating only the most complex items to higher-level staff
- Provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group
- May act as a lead or first-level supervisor
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- 4-6 years of experience
- Strong proficiency in Revit
- Strong technical skills, including familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter
- Critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented approach with ability to handle multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent multitasking skills, with willingness to perform duties outside the scope when necessary

Preferred Experience
- Healthcare project electrical design experience
- Higher Education project electrical design experience
- Central Energy Plant (CEP) electrical infrastructure design experience
- Medium voltage protection and power distribution systems design experience
- Paralleled generator systems design at medium voltage and below

Pay Range
USD $103,175 - $132,810 per year
