Electronics Engineer

Leidos is hiring an Electronics Engineer to support the FAA National Airspace System Integration Support (NISC) program in Fort Worth, TX (onsite). In this role, you will help drive BNATCS modernization planning, engineering, implementation, and site and installation activities for next-generation air traffic control infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys at FAA facilities to identify infrastructure requirements needed to support BNATCS implementation.
• Create detailed site preparation scopes of work using field survey results, facility data, and engineering requirements.
• Develop cost estimates for site preparation and infrastructure improvement efforts.
• Review contractor site preparation proposals for technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with FAA Service Centers (SSC), Technical Services (TSC), Air Traffic (AT), and other stakeholders to implement risk mitigations supporting BNATCS projects.
• Schedule and coordinate site preparation, installation, and commissioning activities with FAA personnel, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Produce periodic project status reports and communicate progress to project leadership.
• Maintain Corporate Work Plan (CWP) data and associated project documentation.
• Update facility drawings and maintain redline documentation for drafting and as-built records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering.
• Ability to travel 25–50%.
• Ability to obtain an FAA Public Trust Suitability determination. Eligibility requires applicants to be U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders who have resided in the United States for the previous three years.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.

Pay Range: $69,550.00 - $125,725.00 per year. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.

Minimum Experience: 2 years.
