Engineer Lead

SCR Solutions, Inc. is hiring an Engineer Lead in Fergus Falls, MN to guide projects from concept through installation and startup while supporting hands-on engineering and fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities, including component and material selection
• Manage project designs from initial concept through installation and startup
• Provide drafting and design for custom food processing equipment, including conveyors, dumpers, tables, platforms, and related systems
• Support fabrication shop operations alongside engineering work
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to develop solutions that are practical, safe, and reliable

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, drafting, or a related technical field
• Completion of a technical college program
• Relevant industrial experience, especially in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industries

Technologies

• SolidWorks
• Autodesk Inventor

Preferred Experience

• Experience with SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor
• Familiarity with industrial systems such as conveyors, dumpers, controls, and processing
• Experience with box erectors, closers, and tapers
• Equipment design experience

Job Details

• Job type: Full-Time
• Work location: In person (Fergus Falls, MN)
• Travel required: Approximately 2-4 overnight stays per month
• Customer examples: Hormel Foods, Schwan's, Ecolab, Land O' Lakes

Compensation

• Annual salary: USD 75,000 - 150,000 depending on experience
