Job Description

Work onsite in Batavia, OH and help deliver capital projects from early planning through construction and commissioning. This role offers bonus eligibility, a 401k with company match, healthcare coverage, and a broad range of other benefits.

The Expert Project Engineer will oversee small, minor, and major capital projects end to end. You will coordinate across internal and external stakeholders, drive adherence to project key components, and support execution through construction management and plant startup assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation of pre-project approval documents, including a project charter, project management plan, project kick start activities, and the development of estimates and milestone schedules.
  • Monitor design progress and ensure deliverables are completed in line with established project key components.
  • Review design details received from the design team to build full understanding of project deliverables, enabling coordination of bid package development and release for construction bidding and field execution.
  • Direct and execute installation, construction, and commissioning activities for assigned projects.
  • Manage adherence to project milestones and project scope, and secure approvals for engineering changes through established engineering ways of working methodology.
  • Provide construction management and plant startup assistance to support successful project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, plus 7+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related field.
  • Associate’s Degree and 10+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related field.

Additional Information

  • Onsite: Batavia, OH
  • Relocation: Must be willing and able to relocate to future project/site locations based on business needs after completion of assigned projects in Batavia, OH.
  • Visa sponsorship: Not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.

Salary: $115,973.10 to $169,261.00 per year.
