Grinder Service Engineer
Job Description
Field Service role focused on CNC grinding machine tool installation, troubleshooting, and support across customer sites in Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Install CNC machine tool systems and required accessories at customer locations
- Troubleshoot and identify root causes for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and application issues
- Coordinate resolutions and recommend repairs or replacements for CNC tools
- Provide on-site and remote support to customers, distributors, and internal colleagues
- Manage service projects and deliver training as needed
- Support trade shows and service activities as required
- Maintain a 100% travel schedule, including overnight trips and occasional weekend travel
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years machine tool maintenance/technology experience (electrical and mechanical)
- 3+ years remote technical support in the machine tool industry
- 3+ years installation/maintenance of machining centers, including CNC geometry checks and adjustments
- Knowledge of PLC programming/troubleshooting, machine control systems, FANUC Controls, and power circuits
- Experience using Microsoft suite tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- OSHA-10 Certification in General Industry or Construction

Additional Starting Pay Details
- Starting pay: $28 / hr.
