Responsibilities
- Advance remanufacturing processes for engines and components to improve quality, reduce cost, and increase efficiency.
- Perform technical evaluations of potential reman products, including core condition assessments.
- Develop reman specifications, BOMs, and core acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate with core collection teams to maintain sufficient core inventories.
- Develop and implement testing protocols to verify reman products meet OEM standards.
- Support procurement and production teams in resolving technical issues and sourcing components.
- Produce ISO 9001 documentation, including work instructions and process flows.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Provide technical training and cross-functional support across engineering, operations, and supplier groups.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline engine systems and their components.
- Proficiency with CAD and the ability to interpret 2D engineering drawings.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and tolerance stack analysis.
- Excellent problem solving and project management capabilities.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and environmental regulations.
- Hands-on manufacturing experience (CNC, welding, etc.) preferred.
- Microsoft Office proficiency; Power BI experience is a plus.
