Industrial Engineer

Manpower Engineering’s client is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join the Factory Test Equipment team in Minneapolis, MN (onsite). This role offers a strong platform for technical impact, including opportunities to work on complex, automated systems, act as a subject matter expert for PLC integration and troubleshooting, and provide leadership to a small team.

What you’ll be working on

You will support project delivery by contributing specialized skills to engineering teams and focusing on PLC integration for a complex automated system. The work includes capturing and maintaining system requirements with stakeholders, executing test plans, and turning test outcomes into corrective actions. You will also collaborate across disciplines on complex systems that may include hardware, software, network components, and PLC systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical skills and abilities to engineering teams to support successful project execution.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for PLC integration and troubleshooting in a complex automated system.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and manage system requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and execute test plans, analyze test results, and drive corrective actions.
• Supervise a small team of 2 to 3 and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to support on-time completion.

Requirements

• Experience in systems engineering or industrial engineering.
• Experience with PLCs.
• Strong mastery of equipment integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Compensation and location

Pay range: $39.42/hr (USD 39 - 39 hourly).
Location: Minneapolis, MN (onsite).
