Junior Engineer
Job Description
Onsite Junior Engineer role at MANTECH in Crane, Indiana, focused on RF testing and development of digital and RF radar subsystems, supporting government engineers.
Responsibilities
- Review performance specifications to identify the test parameters needed to validate digital and RF radar subsystem capabilities
- Lead and mentor team members on RF testing and development projects
- Collaborate with government engineers to design automated RF test systems
- Prepare technical papers and develop Technical Data Packages (TDP)
- Aid in estimating the time and cost of engineering projects
- Design versatile test stations capable of energizing and testing electrical factors, digital controls, and RF parameters
- Utilize software interfaces to automate the test station and collect design specification data
- Document testing processes to ensure long term usability and compliance
Requirements
- 0+ years of professional engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Active Secret clearance required
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting RF and digital devices
- Experience supporting WXS (Airborne Electronic Attack Systems Division)
