Job Description

Cordogan Clark is seeking an experienced Licensed Electrical Engineer to help develop and coordinate MEP electrical systems for projects in Cleveland, OH.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Architects and project teams to create integrated MEP system designs.
  • Develop and review electrical plans, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Support sustainable design practices and ensure work aligns with applicable codes and standards.
  • Conduct site visits, surveys, and provide construction administration support.
  • Deliver technical expertise across design and construction phases.
  • Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve field and design issues.
  • Mentor junior staff and support knowledge transfer within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in building systems electrical engineering design, including demonstrated experience designing multiple and complex projects.
  • Licensed professional engineer registered in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and/or Missouri or able to become registered in each state.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit, plus applicable analysis software.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, energy codes, and design standards.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a design firm or architecture-integrated practice is strongly preferred.

Compensation

  • Pay: USD $100,000 - $125,000 per year
