Licensed Electrical Engineer
Job Description
Cordogan Clark is seeking an experienced Licensed Electrical Engineer to help develop and coordinate MEP electrical systems for projects in Cleveland, OH.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Architects and project teams to create integrated MEP system designs.
- Develop and review electrical plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Support sustainable design practices and ensure work aligns with applicable codes and standards.
- Conduct site visits, surveys, and provide construction administration support.
- Deliver technical expertise across design and construction phases.
- Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve field and design issues.
- Mentor junior staff and support knowledge transfer within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in building systems electrical engineering design, including demonstrated experience designing multiple and complex projects.
- Licensed professional engineer registered in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and/or Missouri or able to become registered in each state.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit, plus applicable analysis software.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, energy codes, and design standards.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a design firm or architecture-integrated practice is strongly preferred.

Compensation
- Pay: USD $100,000 - $125,000 per year
