Parsons is hiring an Electrical Engineer to support the TEAMS NEXT Facilities Lifecycle Management Contract (FLCM) within a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) effort in Huntsville, Alabama. This onsite role blends electrical engineering with facilities planning, design, and construction integration, along with operations support and engineering documentation across multiple locations.
You will collaborate within an integrated team performing engineering and construction integration and operations functions, including facility planning and equipment systems integration. The position includes significant travel, with opportunities for both CONUS and OCONUS, as well as international assignments.
Role Overview
- Perform engineering and construction integration and operations work, including facility planning and design, real property and equipment acquisition, construction management, and cost estimating
- Support facility engineering designs and construction project teams, with emphasis on on-site equipment systems integration for building systems and facilities at multiple sites
- Analyze engineering tasking requirements to establish mechanical/electrical scope and objectives and develop Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) documents
- Conduct relevant engineering research and help produce supporting engineering documentation such as briefings, information papers, and reports for facilities and infrastructure
- Support systems engineering integrated baseline reviews, project change management, and acquisition reviews
- Coordinate with internal and external partners, including design and construction agents
- Travel up to 50% of the time across CONUS, OCONUS, and international locations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 5+ years of related work experience
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate may be required
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- Ability to provide engineering support for planning, design, construction, and maintenance/sustainment of physical and natural environments, and the administrative and mission facilities and infrastructure of the Agency
- Technical and theoretical knowledge applicable to electrical, mechanical, or a related engineering discipline
- Team-oriented capability to solve engineering problems
- Facility engineering studies and analysis experience, including assisting with complex problem solving
- Familiarity with standard US professional office software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel/deploy to customer sites for up to 30-40 days at a time, 2-3 times per year, including US and international sites

Preferred Qualifications
- B.S. degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university with 7+ years of relevant experience
- An M.E. or M.S. in engineering plus five years of relevant engineering experience may be substituted for the seven years requirement
- A B.S. in engineering and a Professional Engineer (PE) license plus five years of relevant engineering experience may be substituted for the seven years requirement
- Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency and Department of War projects
- Active Secret Clearance or higher
- Project management experience during site deployment, including construction, master schedules, budget, and configuration management
- Experience developing policies, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for site activation, system deployment, and site sustainment practices
- Experience developing and implementing program activities, coordinating multiple stakeholders including prime contractors and subcontractors and support service personnel
- Experience developing acquisition plans and supporting procurement actions and scopes of work
- Experience mentoring junior level staff members
- Familiarity with AUTO CAD or similar drafting tools
Security Clearance Information
- A security clearance is not required to apply, but the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship, prior to the start date
Compensation
- Salary range: $74,800.00 - $130,900.00 per year
