PLC Electrical Engineer
Job Description
This full-time PLC Electrical Engineer role centers on designing, upgrading, and troubleshooting electrical control systems for pharmaceutical equipment, focusing on PLC hardware and software to ensure reliable production and efficient maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
- Design control systems including PLC programming and hardware for manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Modify existing control systems, add new control functions, and remove obsolete ones.
- Upgrade control systems on existing machines.
- Troubleshoot machine control and electrical issues to restore optimal performance.
- Evaluate control systems when procuring new equipment.
- Perform startup and commissioning of new equipment.
- Train technicians on operation and setup of new machines.
- Provide technical support to production teams.
- Availability to work on weekends or holidays as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or higher.
- More than 3 years of hands-on experience with PLC applications or controls engineering and programming capabilities.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and automated equipment.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment and cGMP is a plus.
- General knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.

Compensation
Hourly rate: USD 30.00 to USD 38.00 per hour.
